Karen Halligan
With over 25 years of experience in senior client, media owner, and agency roles, Karen is a respected leader in the Australian media and marketing industry. Before joining OzTAM, she served as a Partner at KPMG, where she specialised in marketing, martech, and media advisory.
Karen is also the chair of UnLtd, a social purpose organisation that connects the media, marketing and creative industries with charities helping at-risk children and young people.
Sylvano Lucchetti
With more than three decades of experience in statistics and audience measurement, Sylvano leads the design and evolution of OzTAM’s measurement systems, including big-data hybrid approaches and Video Player Measurement (VPM).
Prior to joining OzTAM in 2005, Sylvano held senior statistical and research roles across television measurement, consumer panel research and government.
Adrian Bogdan Vasile
Adrian has more than 20 years’ experience across audience measurement, product management and media, joining OzTAM in 2017 following senior roles at Nielsen and earlier positions across Reader’s Digest, Euromedia OOH, Starcom Media and Zenith Media.
At OzTAM, Adrian leads product strategy and development, including VOZ Total TV and VPM (BVOD), working across stakeholders, governance and implementation within a complex technical and commercial environment.
Geraldine Coakley
With more than 16 years of experience in finance across media distribution and production, Geraldine brings strong expertise in financial operations, planning and analysis. Before joining OzTAM, she was Finance Director at ITV Studios Australia, where she was part of the senior leadership team, leading finance and production finance and supporting strategic initiatives and deal negotiations.
Her career also includes roles at SBS and Entertainment One, with experience across Australia and the UK. Geraldine holds a Master’s degree in Accounting and Finance.
Ceren Unal
Ceren is an experienced media research professional with extensive expertise in audience measurement across television, digital, radio, and print. As Director of TAM Technical Services at OzTAM, she leads the technical operations and strategic oversight of Australia’s TV Audience Measurement Panel and Establishment Survey, ensuring ongoing robustness and evolution.
Prior to joining OzTAM, Ceren spent 14 years with Nielsen in leadership roles across Turkey, New Zealand, and Australia. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Statistics, providing a strong analytical foundation for her career in audience measurement.
Craig Cooper
Craig combines more than two decades of leadership in Australia’s media and advertising landscape with a deep specialisation in cross-platform video measurement, strategic consultancy and commercial advisory. His career spans senior media investment roles at leading agencies, stewardship of major national accounts and negotiation of complex media partnerships and long-term investment strategies.
At OzTAM, Craig leads key commercial initiatives and plays a central role in shaping the evolution of Australia’s audience measurement services.
Dorus van den Biezenbos
Dorus is an experienced management consultant and OzTAM’s Strategic Projects Lead, guiding industry-wide collaboration. He works closely with broadcasters, SSPs, DSPs, agencies, and advertisers to advance cross-platform integration and innovation in audience measurement, such as VOZ Streaming and Big Data.
Before joining OzTAM, Dorus was Head of Digital Transformation at EY and has founded three successful businesses spanning management consulting, cyber security, and leadership coaching. Originally from the Netherlands, he has lived and worked across Europe, Asia, and Oceania, and is fluent in five languages.
Srinath Vemuri
Sri has over a decade of experience in digital operations, project management, and business analysis across media and other sectors. He has been involved with OzTAM’s Video Player Measurement (VPM) service since 2015, contributing to its development before formally joining OzTAM in 2019.
At OzTAM, Srinath oversees digital operations and product workflows, supporting data integrity, system performance, and the delivery of audience measurement services, while working with broadcasters, vendors, and industry stakeholders.
Jeff Davenport
Jeff is a digital product expert with 20 years’ experience working at the intersection of data, digital product, and commercial strategy across Australia’s leading digital publishers, broadcasters, and audience measurement providers – including Fairfax Digital, News Corp, Channels 7 & 9, and now OzTAM.
At OzTAM, Jeff leads the operations and oversight of VPM, OzTAM’s world-leading census-level measurement system that powers the BVOD component of VOZ, Australia’s national Total TV currency.
Megan Falconer
Megan began her career in media agencies before building her foundation in television audience research at the Seven Network, working across marketing services and data insights. She later moved into client services at ATR Australia, which became Nielsen TAM, where she spent almost 20 years. This combination of agency, broadcaster and media research experience has given her a strong understanding of how audience data supports the wider industry.
As Research and Marketing Manager at OzTAM, Megan draws on this background to support product development, marketing, industry engagement and education, along with trade communications that help share OzTAM insight with the market.
Jacinta Mutukisna
A television ratings and research specialist with over 20 years’ experience in the media industry, Jacinta brings deep expertise in audience data, client service, and a wide range of ratings software.
With experience on both the broadcaster and measurement provider sides, Jacinta offers a well-rounded understanding of how audience insights drive industry outcomes.
Kate Cranna
With 25 years of diverse experience in the media industry, Kate’s expertise spans television audience research and analysis, trade marketing, and media communications. Having worked across television research at major broadcasters including Foxtel and Channel Nine, Kate has an understanding of both subscription and broadcast television landscapes.
Currently serving as Communications Lead at OzTAM, Kate’s background in research, marketing and communications roles uniquely positions her to translate data into narratives that resonate with a trade audience.
Januelle Dacalos
Jan is an experienced Digital Analyst with nine years in software testing, development and project management, with a particular focus on app integrations and quality assurance.
As an Operations Analyst at OzTAM, he is responsible for maintaining data quality and helping to translate complex video measurement data into usable insights for stakeholders.
Bhagyashree Dhebe
Bhagya is a Data Engineer with extensive experience in software engineering and data science across multiple industries.
At OzTAM, Bhagya works on the Virtual Australia (VOZ) database, designing data pipelines, analysing dataset complexities, and ensuring robust reporting processes. She also oversees development cycles with software suppliers, maintains code bases, and supports the implementation of data quality standards across the business, contributing to OzTAM’s accurate and reliable audience measurement services.
Bhagya holds a Master of Data Science from Macquarie University and an Engineer’s Degree in Electronics from Lokmanya Tilak College of Engineering.
Alan Heng
With extensive experience in advertising and data technologies, digital campaign strategy, and programmatic operations, Alan has worked with leading media and technology companies, including Connected Digital, Freewheel, SBS, XAXIS, AD2ONE, and Sensis MediaSmart.
As Technical Services Manager, Alan supports OzTAM’s core services including audience measurement for free-to-air broadcast TV (TAM), Video Player Measurement (VPM) for BVOD, and VOZ Total TV. He also collaborates with third-party software providers on VOZ development and is contributing to the Big Data proof-of-concept project.
Pavithra Mohan
With over 10 years’ experience in Information Technology, Pavi’s expertise spans quality assurance, data validation, and software testing across financial services and digital platforms. She has extensive experience in test planning, execution, reporting, and validating complex data behaviours across web, mobile, and connected devices.
At OzTAM, Pavi applies her analytical skills and attention to detail to ensure the accuracy and integrity of video player measurement (VPM) data, supporting OzTAM’s delivery of precise and reliable audience measurement insights.
Luis Adrias
Luis supports the delivery of OzTAM’s Video Player Measurement (VPM) service, working closely with broadcasters to test and certify video player integrations across platforms. His role includes developing and executing test cases, managing defect reporting and certification tracking, and collaborating with development teams to resolve integration issues.
Through this work, Luis contributes to the quality and consistency of Australia’s BVOD measurement infrastructure, which underpins the national Total TV database (VOZ).
Angela Counsel
As Executive Assistant to the CEO and Office Manager at OzTAM, Angela supports leadership and business operations across the organisation.
With 20+ years in media, spanning national operations, campaign delivery and client marketing, Ange brings experience from leading media environments, supporting high-volume multi-platform work and cross functional team leadership.
Ange brings a considered and collaborative approach, supporting teams to work effectively and deliver strong outcomes.
Kendall Paterson
Kendall has been a cornerstone of OzTAM for over ten years, quietly keeping the organisation running smoothly across all functions. Known for her calm efficiency and unflappable nature, Kendall handles operational challenges with ease, ensuring the team can focus on strategic priorities.
From managing diaries to assisting with contracts and communications, Kendall supports all areas of the OzTAM business with her work underpinning the day-to-day efficiency and stability of OzTAM. She is currently on maternity leave, with Angela Counsel covering the role during her absence.
Rochelle Burbury
Rochelle has more than 30 years’ experience as a journalist and editor, media trainer and PR professional and was voted No. 1 Best of the Best – Trade PR by B&T Magazine. She began her career at B&T Magazine and has also worked with The Sydney Morning Herald, The Australian and The Australian Financial Review as Media & Marketing Editor.
Rochelle established Third Avenue Group in 2013 working with clients exclusively in the media, advertising and ad tech sectors. Third Avenue represents OzTAM in the trade media, managing journalist relationships and media enquiries.
